CANOPY BY HILTON GRAND RAPIDS
AML took great inspiration from Grand Rapids and Michigan when concepting the brand new Hilton Canopy. Michigan is often overlooked as the true birthplace for Mid-Century Modern design. The Grand Rapids metropolitan area still contains three of the world’s largest and most iconic furniture manufacturers. In pulling from this rich history, AML highlighted Mid-Century Modern materials such as breeze block, wood slats, terrazzo flooring, and iconic furniture piece and blended them with more contemporary elements for a fresh and current design. The Canopy by Hilton Grand Rapids features all of the signature brand elements such as the welcoming Canopy Central lounge and cafe, flexible meeting space, and 155 just-right rooms with signature bed canopies.
