Four Seasons St. Petersburg
Anderson/Miller, Ltd. was honored to be selected by Four Seasons to be Designer of Record for the Four Seasons Lion Palace. The beautifulwas originally constructed in 1820 as the Palace for Prince A.Y. Lobanov-Rostovsky. It enjoys a fabulous location on Voznesensky Prospekt overlooking both the Admirality Building and Saint Isaac’s Square. Lion Palace refers to the two guarding lion sculptures at the main entrance originally executed for the Medici family in Florence and now enshrined in Russian literature thanks to Pushkin’s reference to them in The Bronze Horseman. All Public Areas have been returned to their original glory as a beautiful collection of bronze, gilt, marble, burled walnut paneling and decorative moulding. The 183 Guest Suites are graciously appointed in soft traditional palettes and one of the Palace’s interior courtyards contains a luxurious four story Spa with a traditional Russian banya and Swimming Pool. The largest of the interior courtyards was transformed into a Winter Garden offering three meal service, as well as high tea.
